Abstract
This paper represents the results of experiments aimed at exploring the nature of nonlocal effects in biological and techno-biological systems. It is hypothesized that the intensity and modality (stimulating, inhibiting) of stress can be non-locally transmitted, which is confirmed by experimental data. Experiments are performed with seeds and young plants of corn, wheat, triticale, tomato and pollen of the technical plant Cuphea lanceolata Ait., as well as with a digital representation of these objects. The stress was produced by abiotic factors (mechanical, thermal, radiation), the human operator, as well as by modulating the “high-penetrating” LED radiation by a synthetic penicillin, lead and the pathogenic fungus Helminthosporium avenae. The distance in long-range experiments was about 1500 km. All performed experiments demonstrated a nonlocal impact factor, which is manifested in the form of non-specific stimulatory or inhibitory effects on the plants ontogeny, both in laboratory and field conditions.
